This is a really cute picture Mara! The close up, flat shot makes us feel more involved like we're in on the joke. Because the background is black, we focus solely on your sister and the light on her face lets us see the sparkle in her eyes.

This picture is a great image of the innocence and joy of youth that captures our hearts, especially when we are surrounded by a mysterious and dark world. The close up used in this photo completely eclipses the background, leaving us to focus on the brightly lit face of the laughing girl. Although she is surrounded by an environment of darkness, she is not overcome by it. The motion that is visible by the girl's hair being swept about shows us that this child is not stationary, but rather in the process of bringing her youthful joy and light into the depths of the darkness around her. The hard focus used in the picture illustrates the girl's lucidity of purpose: to make the world one smile brighter.

This picture makes the viewer feel heppy. The close up shot makes the you only focus on your sister and her lit up face. The flat angle shot makes us feel like we are in the moment with your sister laughing along with her. The fact that the backround is black makes us think that the girl is still happy even though the world around her is sad. The theme of this picture is that even though life can be hard, a simple smile can brighten things up.

The dark background really makes the little girl stand out, her laughter seems to be the spark of hope in a dark and changing world. The neutral camera angle makes us feel like we are sharing in her joy and happiness. We are not looking up, or down on her but appreciating her happiness amidst the uncertainty. Her hair almost seems to really draw the viewer to her facial expressions, further emphasizing the joy and excitement.
